Shamokin Mount Carmel Football Coal Bucket Game

A game between local town rivals, the Shamokin Indians and the Mount Carmel Red Tornadoes. Pennsylvanian Coal Region Football is very much like Texas football. The rivalries between towns has been going on for the better part of a century. Mount Carmel has won the majority in the past 2 decades. The winner of this game receives and holds for the year the coveted, coal themed trophy, The Coal Bucket. I used photos of games i shot to create a Nintendo themed 8-bit piece of cartridge art.
